the cd arrived today and i thought i'd listen to it while making a t-shirt for next weekend's New Order show, but my attention is constantly drawn away from that to Beauty and Misery. the first track is really blowing my mind. it's a perfect example of really moving, thoughtful sound art! the anticipation, engagement, and sudden prolonged disappointment of _____ is genuinely palpable. i hope lots and lots of people choose to make time for this thoughtful music (and anything else by Fallen).
